Payments provider to process retailer’s online payments for next three years

 

PayPoint.net recently announced that WHSmith has extended its contract to provide online payment services to the retailer’s online store.

 

The three-year renewal will see PayPoint.net continuing to process all online transactions WHSmith.co.uk handles for its customers every year. PayPoint.net was first appointed to process its payments shortly before Christmas 2007 when WHSmith.co.uk re-launched.

 

PayPoint.net said its secure payment solution is specifically tailored to meet WHSmith’s business requirements and seamlessly integrates with its in-house systems.

 

Real-time reporting bonus

 

As a result WHSmith can incorporate PayPoint.net’s real-time reporting and reconciliation functionality into its existing technology, making its systems easier to manage while giving WHSmith a detailed view of its business performance.

 

It also reported that WHSmith has been impressed with the reliability and robustness of its payment platform. PayPoint.net’s highly scalable infrastructure, high processing capacity, full disaster recovery solution and 24-hour system monitoring has helped support high volumes of traffic and sales for more than three years.
