Order fulfilment and distribution services prove the smart choice for rapidly growing B2C online camera retailer

Order fulfilment and distribution services prove the smart choice for rapidly growing B2C online camera retailer

The first customer of P2P e-Logistics, the order fulfilment and distribution division of P2P Mailing, has achieved a 64% increase in sales turnover, since the two companies began their partnership in August.

Scott Tibbles, director of in-car digital video recorder online store SmartCam Direct, engaged P2P e-Logistics after company growth meant it was no longer viable for him to process orders himself.

Tailored fulfilment outsourcing

P2P e-Logistics, which launched this summer, provides the business-to-consumer (B2C) operation a complete fulfilment and distribution package, incorporating bespoke technology and modern, secure warehouse facilities with personalised account management.

Orders received by SmartCam are passed to P2P e-Logistics, which carries out the pick and pack process and ensures that the items reach the end customer on time. It also provides secure storage for SmartCam Direct’s products and also manage the invoicing process.

Working with P2P e-Logistics has allowed Scott Tibbles, Director of SmartCam Direct to concentrate on building business relationships and expanding his product range.

Partnership provides business boost

Tibbles commented: “The partnership with P2P e-logistics is a huge success; I’ve been delighted to see a significant increase in the number of orders received and the feedback that I’ve received from my customers has been fantastic. Some of them can’t believe how fast their order has been processed and delivered.

“Everyone in e-commerce knows that effective fulfilment and delivery is key and, with P2P e-Logistics, I have the peace of mind that all orders will be processed accurately and promptly. They are now an essential arm of my business and care as much about its success as I do.”
