Accolade Wines adopts managed EDI

By Retail Technology | Tuesday October 8 2013

One of the world’s largest wine companies chooses managed EDI service and e-business portal to streamline supply chain processes

Accolade Wines recently signed a significant multi-year agreement to use the managed e-business platform of business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce provider Atlas Products International.

Accolade is the largest wine company in Australia and the UK, owning brands such as Hardy’s, Echo Falls and Banrock Station.

Preparing for next stage of growth

Atlas will provide its communication and transformation platform for Accolade, allowing for high volume data transmission, conversion and seamless integration with its trading partners.

Jane MacKenzie, Accolade Wines’ head of European IT, said: “We were looking to move our EDI [electronic data interchange] and order management operation to a fully managed service to support the next phase of our plan for further growth and, after a detailed market comparison, chose Atlas for its tried and tested, comprehensive and cost-efficient solution.”
