Mediatronica partners with Conduit to develop brand advertising platform, whose first campaigns for The Coca-Cola Company deliver over 1 million engagements

Social media technology and services company, Mediatronica has established an online marketing platform partnership that has delivered over 1 million engagements for The Coca-Cola Company.

Mediatronica and Conduit, the software company enabling publishers to distribute their offering directly and through its global network of publishers, announced a strategic partnership designed to help brand advertisers engage and connect with Conduit’s global online network of 100 million users by providing Conduit’s 220,000 publishers branded browser applications and content.

Ad content delivers brand awareness

The partners said multiple campaigns for leading brands, including Coca-Cola, are underway and additional campaigns will run throughout 2010.

The first campaigns were launched in December 2009 in support of a globally integrated Coca-Cola Zero promotion. In the first 24 hours after the first activation, Coca-Cola Zero branded content was distributed to 1 million users in the Conduit Network. Ten days later, the campaign had reached 8 million people in over 30 countries and generated nearly 1 million minutes of total viewing/engagement time, as reported by Mediatronica.

The next stage of the Mediatronica-Conduit partnership includes brand campaigns that make use of Facebook-connected branded content and applications, geo-targeted and demographic-targeted branded applications publishers can deploy to expand offerings and increase revenue per user, as well as branded applications for the Conduit Marketplace.

Browser apps prove popular

“The ability to connect with and communicate with millions of users via browser apps is a game changer,” said Mediatronica founder, Eli Chapman. “In addition to near instant-access to millions of users, the Conduit Platform makes it easy for us to publish and re-purpose creative assets as shareable video gadgets and apps that we are able to monitor, measure and optimise. We’re thrilled to be working closely together to shape this new engagement channel for brands, and new monetisation channel for agencies and publishers.”

“Mediatronica has fantastic ideas for helping promote brands and Conduit has the platform and network to improve engagement and customer acquisition,” said Adam Boyden, president of Conduit. “We are anticipating a highly productive partnership for Coca-Cola Zero and many other Mediatronica clients.”
