ShopDragon selected as platform for sustainable wine project, Conscious Wine


ShopDragon, an e-commerce software system designed for small businesses, was selected as the platform to launch Conscious Wine, a dynamic environment for education, promotion and community around wine and wineries that follow sustainable practices.


ShopDragon’s e-commerce platform will drive the entire Conscious Wine experience, allowing the US startup to launch a rich web presence in a fraction of the time of a custom built solution.


Features such as Vineyard of the Month Club, Conscious Wine TV, Personal Wine Cellars and advanced Winery pages will represent the best of content plus commerce on the web.


Architecture enables white label flexibility


ShopDragon added that its advanced peer-to-peer model gives Conscious Wine the ability to drive sales to the often small, sustainable wineries that will be participating, while presenting them a vehicle to have their own e-commerce presence without upfront or monthly fees.


Conscious Wine intends to increase exposure to sustainable practices and the wineries that follow them by building a community that can learn and interact in fun and interesting ways, while giving consumers the ability support those wineries and businesses directly by purchasing their products.
