Lixto Software, a web data extraction and analysis software developer, has announced the release of its new Price Intelligence Suite of solutions delivering real-time competitive price advantage for consumer products and the travel and transport industries.

 

The rise in consumer online purchasing has increased the need for solutions that provide a view of external market data to help companies maintain visibility of real-time market prices, according to the company. For example, a hotel chain that can track room rates offered by its various online resellers, including any bundled offerings such as free breakfast or parking, can dynamically adjust room pricing based on competitive and market conditions to maximise revenue. Lixto’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions provide companies with online pricing analysis to address these issues and help them gather real-time price intelligence from online channels to positively impact the bottom line.

 

SaaS offering to rival in-house systems

 

Lixto added that its new Price Intelligence Suite has been developed from previous products already available by the company, incorporating proven and new features to help provide better results and information on pricing. In addition, the SaaS-based Analytics Framework of the new solution is specifically designed to meet the business users’ demand for price operations, price analytics and price strategy.
